Pastor Beadle Welcome to Trinity Deaf!
We welcome you to join us for Trinity Lutheran Deaf Worship. Trinity Deaf is a wonderful group of God’s people who come together to worship God and share God’s love. We meet every Sunday at 11:00 am in The Chapel of Our Fathers on the ground floor of Trinity Lutheran Church. All services are conducted in sign and voice and are fully accessible to Deaf, hard of hearing and hearing persons. Trinity Deaf is a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Deaf of America.

Trinity Deaf Worship
May 30, 2010

O Lord our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!" Today we celebrate the name of God: holy blessed Trinity. There is no other day quite like this one in the church’s year. There is no other god like ours. Praise Father, Son, and Holy Spirit!

Trinity Deaf Announcments

Deaf Worship is held every Sunday at 11:00 a m. in the Chapel of our Fathers.  Services are signed and voiced by the pastor, making worship fully accessible to Deaf, hard of hearing, and hearing individuals, so that families can worship together.  We teach and preach basic Lutheran theology in language that can be easily interpreted to American Sign Language.  We use as our study Bible, The Holy Bible, English Version for the Deaf.

Christian Education is provided at a Adult Bible study Group, that meets at 11:00 a.m. every Wednesday.  The group discusses the stories of both the Old and New Testaments as well as the culture and geography of the time.

Fellowship is provided through a pot-luck luncheon for the Deaf, held after the first worship service of each month, as well as intergenerational events and day trips throughout the year.  We also participate in activities with the hearing congregation of Trinity Lutheran Church.  All are welcome at all our events.

Trinity Deaf Senior Citizen’s Group happens every second Thursday of each month from 10:00am -3:00pm.  The group enjoys fellowship,  plays games, takes part in organized programs, and enjoys a hot lunch prepared for them by our Trinity Deaf volunteers.  We ask for a $3.00 donation for the hunch.  The group invites Deaf seniors from all faiths and locations.  We have a group from Valley View assisted living center in Media, members from Pottsville, Lancaster, Allentown, Pottstown and Emmaus.  Though we call ourselves a senior center, adults are welcome.

Programs on Deaf Ministry and Culture are now being offered to all church groups and civic organizations.  These programs touch on the different aspects of Deaf culture, the language and our ministry.  We enjoy sharing our unique ministry with our Hearing brothers and sisters in Christ.
